Today P4 had an action packed day. The Active Learning Company came to do a very exciting workshop on World War II. There was a fantastic range of activities to enthuse the children. There was :- Dressing up, shadows on the wall, identifying artefacts, decoding secret messages, handling weapons of war, making an evacuee label, examine an evacuee's suitcase, playing with wartime games and toys and many more. All the P4s thoroughly enjoyed themselves and learned so much about the war and life during that difficult time. To finish off the they had marching drill and Tommy Eakins was the winner as he was the quickest and most accurate at following orders. He was awarded a gold medal.
