In P6/7 we are currently looking at the features of explanation texts. We focused in on the topic of 'The Night Sky' which led us to discover how day turns into night and how the seasons change.
We also looked at space, which Padraig showed great interest in. He brought in a 3D picture of the planets which was really cool to look at!
We were able to used what we had learned in Literacy to create a PowerPoint on one aspect of the solar system. We were able to use the internet to research further and find pictures to add to our PowerPoint. This topic was lots of fun!
