Today we had a visit form the new Education Welfare Officer, Mrs Bernadette O' Callahan who came to talk to Primary 7 about moving on to their new school. The children watched a DVD which featured children who are currently attending local secondary schools discuss what they enjoyed about their first year in their new school.
The children then had the opportunity to complete a worksheet which gave them a chance to discuss the do's and don't's of moving on and they also discussed what they hoped to achieve in their new school. It was a great opportunity to prepare the children for September and they all enjoyed the experience.
