Eilish Boyle, Education Authority, was our special guest at school yesterday to officially open our brand new ICT suite.
Funds were raised from our summer raffle last year to beautifully refurbish a vacant classroom and to accommodate our 22 laptops. The children have been using this wonderful resource since September.
All classes will use this facility to explore, express, exchange, evaluate and exhibit using ICT in accordance with the NI Curriculum. And as Eilish rightly pointed out, they will also gain great excitement and enjoyment while extending their learning bringing the '5 Es' up to a grand total of 8.
Cameron, Alice, Miceal, Charlotte, Ariane and Chloe represented the children as we celebrated this opening afterschool but for Charlotte and Chloe it was a double celebration as it was also their birthday.
