Congratulations to our school footballers who took part in the St. Mark’s indoor football tournament. The boys and girls played their hearts out, beating Killowen PS, Holy Cross (Atticall), St. Ronan’s PS (Newry) and drawing with Carrick PS (Burren). This allowed our children to qualify for the A league competition! They played extremely well throughout and were unfortunately beaten by an excellent St. Patrick’s, Hilltown team in the semi-final. We envisage this team going from strength to strength this year and expect great things from them! Training will commence once again in the new year.
