Monday 1st February was St Brigid's Day. Primary One were extremely lucky boys and girls as St Brigid (Colleen Ferguson, Primary 5) came to visit them to their class!
The children learned that St Brigid brings the spring and she really did bring the spring to us! She had seeds for us to plant and beautiful daffodils to brighten up our classroom.
A special word of thanks to Eddie and Marie McGlue (Grandparents of Cora McGlue, Primary One) who very kindly collected rushes that we used to make St. Brigid's crosses. Colleen and Cora delivered St. Brigid's crosses to every class in the school to add to their Sacred Space.
