In Primary 2 as part of Science Week and to continue with our 'Food' topic we examined different fruits.
This was linked to our Literacy book for the week 'Handa's Surprise'.
We also linked it to World Around Us as we talked about the different countries the fruits came from. In Literacy we wrote the story of 'Handa's Surprise' in our own words. we painted pictures of the animals in the story and created a fantastic display!
Ask your child to tell the story of 'Handa'.
