Today, Primary 1 enjoyed a visit to the ICT Suite. The boys and girls have a very good knowledge of many sounds and high frequency words so they are ready to begin word processing. We spent some time getting to know the keyboard. In today's lesson, they learned how to:
- Use the spacebar and backspace correctly.
- Type and make simple alterations to text using buttons on the keyboard.
We also discussed the importance of saving our work so that we can continue working on a document. The boys and girls printed their work by clicking on file/save.
