The P7 children have enjoyed taking part in practical maths lessons involving Measure and Place Value since returning to school. In Measure, the children worked in mixed ability groups to measure a variety of different lengths using different measuring equipment. Within the topic area of Place Value, the children particularly enjoyed becoming Maths Detectives in which they worked in pairs to investigate and identify the number that was stuck on their head using a limited number of questions.
