Parent support

26th Mar 2020

At any time when we are faced with a difficulty or a problem it is always reassuring to know that there is always someone there that we can turn to

for a helping hand

a listening ear

and a word of advice.

As we all make our way through these unprecedented times there are many help lines for those who may need it.

Parentline NI would like to remind you all that their Regional Parents Helpline is in full operation throughout this difficult time. They can be contacted on freephone 0808 8020 400 to provide guidance, advice and support to parents and carers.

You can also contact them via

www.ci-ni.org.uk

parentline@ci-ni.org.uk

Autism NI have created an ‘Anxiety Resource Pack’. At some point during this very difficult time our children may experience anxiety, fear, confusion, loneliness and upset. Have a look and see if there any useful tools you may be able to use to ease some of the anxiety for your child.

You can contact them on

www.autismni.org

School is a very safe place for children. No matter how big or small their worries and difficulties are we as a staff always do our best to help them. And there is always the same offer of help for parents. Nothing has changed even though we are apart. If you need some help please use the school’s Facebook or website and send a private message. Someone will get back to you as soon as they can and help you.

Continue to look after yourselves and help each other.
