P7 Shared Education
Primary Seven have thoroughly enjoyed developing friendships with the children from our shared partnership school, Annalong P.S. Alongside building these new connections, the pupils have also begun an exciting sporting journey as they learned the rules and skills of rugby.
Ulster Rugby kindly facilitated and led four excellent rugby workshops across both schools. This learning experience was put into action when pupils from St Colman’s and Annalong took part in their first rugby tournament in Armagh. Five mixed‑school, mixed‑gender teams were created, giving the children a fantastic opportunity to work together and compete in a fun rugby blitz.
To round off this shared education experience, pupils from both schools travelled together to Belfast to watch Ulster Rugby take on Connacht at the Affidea Stadium on Friday 20th March. This was a memorable and exciting end to a brilliant project.
