In Literacy this week Mr Colgan's class spent valuable time getting to know one another. The children did this by writing an independent piece of writing about themselves which they could then share with their peers. Firstly, the children made a plan of what they wanted to include in their independent piece of writing. The children then used their plan and class Literacy Working Wall to help them write a piece of writing about themselves. Mr Colgan marked the piece of work and the children then had the opportunity to redraft and improve their piece of writing for the class wall display. The children thoroughly enjoyed reading each other's work from the class wall display.
