In class we have recently started using Times Tables Rock Stars as a fun way to learn our tables and division facts. Each child chooses their own 'rock' name and they are allocated an avatar which they can change if they earn enough coins.
Feedback from the children was very positive. Everyone seemed to enjoy the timed aspect of each game and the reward for getting their tables right was enough to motivate everyone to continue playing. We really saw some competitive streaks coming to the fore!
