Primary 4 had an unforgettable day on their recent trip to Armagh Planetarium! From the moment they arrived, the children were excited to begin their journey through space and science. ππ
One of the highlights of the day was the incredible 3D Space Dome experience, where pupils were immersed in a fascinating journey through the universe. ππͺ They also enjoyed the thrilling roller coaster simulator, which took them on an exciting ride through space. π’β¨
The children explored the exhibition area, discovering fascinating facts about planets, stars, astronauts and space exploration. πβπ¨π They also spent time in the sensory room, enjoying the interactive and engaging activities. ππ¨
During a hands-on rocket making workshop, pupils designed and built their own rockets before testing them on the rocket launcher. ππ§ There was great excitement as they watched their creations soar into the air! ππ
The trip provided a fantastic opportunity for learning outside the classroom and helped bring our topic work to life. The pupils were enthusiastic, curious and a credit to the school throughout the day. ππ
A big thank you to the staff at Armagh Planetarium for making our visit so enjoyable and memorable. π«
It was an amazing day filled with fun, learning and adventure, and one that Primary 4 will remember for a long time! ππβ
