P6 had a very interesting day on Friday when they went to the Nautilus Centre to find out more about the local fishing industry. We met a man named Roy who showed us around the centre and answered our many questions!
We saw lots of old photographs of the harbour and learned how to mend nets. We also got to experience what it is like to be at the helm of a ship and guide it into the harbour. Roy showed us some different types of fish that are caught locally. Some of P6 were braver than others when it came to holding them!
