Today our school held the annual Mourne Netball Tournament. In attendance were Holy Cross P.S. Attical, St. Joseph's P.S. Ballymartin, Grange P.S., Moneydarragh P.S. and our own St. Colman's P.S. The rain didn't dampen the spirits of the girls who played their hearts out and showed fantastic skill and team work.
St. Colman's A team played St. Colman's B team in the first semi final and Grange P.S. played St. Joseph's P.S., Ballymartin in the second semi-final.
The final between Grange and St. Colman's A team was a super match with both teams playing a very high standard of netball. Congratulations to. Grange P.S. who were runners up and a huge well done to our own girls from St. Colman's who won the overall competition! We are delighted to win the shield back. A big thank you to Mrs McLoughlin who has worked hard all year training the girls to such a high standard.
