P6 were super mathematicians this week as they celebrated Maths Week Ireland. Each day we worked through a pupil puzzle sent to us by the Maths department in St. Louis. We also completed a task using the Northern Ireland census statistics on the NISRA website which enabled us to view the statistics for our local area using our postcodes. We all found it very interesting and we enjoyed picking out familiar landmarks on the maps. We will now use the information we gathered to produce various types of graphs. It was a thoroughly enjoyable week and we look forward to the next one!
