P1 Bring Butterflies to Life with Animation
Primary 1 had a fantastic time taking part in a live lesson on Just2easy Animate as part of our learning around the story The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The children were so excited to create their own butterfly animations using the Chromebooks. During the lesson we learned how to build our animations frame by frame and even discovered the clever technique called onion skinning, which helps you see the previous frame to make the next movement just right. The best moment was pressing play and watching our butterflies come to life and fly across the screen!
A huge thank you to Nikki Kimbell, Just2easy consultant, who even gave our school a shout out during the live lesson. The children were thrilled!
We were incredibly impressed with our amazing P1 pupils who followed all the instructions so carefully and managed their own devices throughout the session. They showed fantastic focus and stayed calm and regulated for the entire lesson. Mrs Colgan is so proud of her wonderful P1 class.
