Happy Easter girls and boys

8th Apr 2020
  • Hello girls and boys β˜€οΈ

We are so pleased with all the hard work that you have been doing these past few weeks. You are all doing just great so far! ⭐️ We are all taking our Easter holidays today. We’ve no doubt that you will think of lovely things to do at home with your family. We look forward to hearing all about it when we all come back online on Monday 22nd April.

Some of you have celebrated your birthday from we were last in school, from 14th March to today. 10 boys have had a birthday and 5 girls. Some of you will have your birthday over the Easter holidays, 3 boys and 2 girls. If you have a school calendar you can see who some of these children are. Happy birthday children πŸŽ‚πŸŽˆπŸŽ‰

There is a special surprise for you this morning. Abbie, Steven and James from P7 have each written a message for you. Here’s what they have to say to you:

Hello boys and girls. I am missing everyone, the laughter and the craic. Hope you all have your rainbows in your windows to support the NHS and remember we are the rainbow children. STAY HOME STAY SAFE and we will all see each other when this is over. Love, Abbie x

Hi everyone. I hope you are all having fun with home learning. I hope to see you all soon. Keep fit, keep safe and well. Have an eggsellent time over Easter. From, Steven.

Hi everyone.
A few weeks ago, our whole world got turned upside down, and none of us knew what to do.
We are still learning to deal with it, but there are a few points that I think we all should follow:
* help your parents when they need help
* do some exercise or dance like no one is watching
* always play with your brothers and sisters, so they don’t get lonely
* have a laugh with your family and friends
* keep in contact with your family and friends
* do your school work as best as you can
* enjoy spending precious time with your family
Try and remember the good times before this all happened because hopefully very soon, we will be back to normality.
Please everyone take care and stay at home,
James Out

Abbie, Steven and James have certainly been the children’s voice. We are so proud of their messages. We have the best children’s leaders any school could dream of in our school.

Remember to keep up your exercises every day and tune in as often as you can to Mass and other Easter services in the Oratory. Look out for the flowers on the altar on Easter Sunday. Mrs Higgins and Mrs Matthews will pick some flowers from the school garden and put them on the altar. The garden club will be excited to hear this news.Barney is looking after our school for us. He sent me some photos this morning 🌷🌸🌼 The link for the Oratory is: www.mournefilm.com

Happy Easter girls and boys πŸ₯🐣🐰
