Primary 2 had a spooktacular morning in Forest School when a very special visitor arrived — the witch from Room on the Broom! (Otherwise known as Liz Farnan, our wonderful environmental educator.)
The children listened carefully to the story and joined in with all the magical sounds from the tale. Then, everyone became busy woodland creatures — pretending to be squirrels, hiding their nuts for later, and exploring the outdoors just like in the story.
Next, we went on an exciting autumn colour hunt, searching for the brightest reds, yellows, and oranges in the leaves, before collecting some special finds during our autumn treasure hunt.
To finish our enchanted morning, the witch led a potion class! The children mixed natural ingredients, stirring up their very own magical brews — with plenty of imagination and giggles.
It was a wonderful day of stories, nature, and creativity, bringing the magic of Room on the Broom to life in our own school grounds. 🍁✨
