Forest school Art activity 🌿☀️
Yesterday at Forest School, the children took part in a creative, nature-based art activity that encouraged exploration, imagination, and connection with the outdoors. ☀️
Using natural materials they gathered themselves—such as leaves, sticks, petals, and stones—the children designed and created their own unique pieces of artwork. This hands-on experience allowed them to experiment with textures, shapes, and patterns while expressing their individual ideas.
The activity supported the development of fine motor skills, creativity, and problem-solving, while also fostering an appreciation for the natural environment. It was fantastic to see the children working both independently and collaboratively, sharing ideas and taking pride in their creations.
Well done everyone- we definitely have a few future artists in our class! 🎨
