Exciting News: Meet Our New Digital Leaders 🎉

We are delighted to announce the appointment of seven outstanding children as our new Digital Leaders.

These pupils have been selected for their enthusiasm, creativity and responsibility in St. Colman’s.

They are:

• Eden Cousins
• Amelia Rooney
• Dźulija Titova
• Alonse Dijo
• Caoimhe McNally
• Isabel Shillo
• Evan Forsythe

These Digital Leaders will be trained and supported by our experienced leaders: Corey Rooney, Abel Shillo, and Abel Dijo. Under their guidance, the students will gain skills in digital citizenship, STEM education, peer mentoring, and using technology safely and creatively.

We are thrilled to share that our Digital Leaders will be taking part in the Microsoft DreamSpace Ambassador Programme. This is Microsoft’s flagship student leadership and training initiative, which enables pupils to become DreamSpace Ambassadors or “DreamSpace Specialists.” 

Through this programme they will:

• Receive virtual training sessions on topics such as coding, online safety, Micro:bit tools, and using digital resources effectively.  
• Mentor and support other students, helping teachers, peers, and the school community with digital skills.  
• Lead initiatives to bring STEM and digital learning to life in our school. This may include demonstrations, workshops, and helping integrate new technology into lessons.  

We are confident that Eden, Amelia, Dźulija, Alonse, Caoimhe, Isabel, and Evan will all be terrific ambassadors for our school. Their work will help to ensure that technology is used in innovative, safe, and educational ways — and will inspire others to be more confident with digital tools.
