Early Man Workshop
Primary had an amazing experience as they stepped into the world of Early Man. Our workshop was full of hands-on activities that helped explore how people lived thousands of years ago.
The children began by dressing up in Early Man-style clothing, which really helped them imagine what life was like in the past. They investigated fascinating facts about survival and daily routines, before trying their hand at making rubbings of ancient patterns and symbols to understand early forms of art and communication. The boys and girls also learned traditional skills such as weaving and grinding wheat, discovering how food and fabrics were prepared without modern tools. To finish, they created axes using paper, which gave them a sense of how important tools were for survival. It was a fantastic day of learning, teamwork, and fun and you were brilliant time travellers!
