Today in Forest School, P3 took their learning outdoors as they explored the topic of African homes through a hands-on, imaginative den-building activity.
Using natural materials such as branches, leaves, and logs, the children worked in small groups to design and create their own dens inspired by traditional African huts and houses.
The children used their teamwork and problem-solving skills to build sturdy structures, thinking carefully about shape, shelter, and the natural environment. They loved comparing their dens to real-life homes from different parts of Africa.
