Primary 6 were very lucky to have local author Declan Carville visit for the day. He worked with the children on a story entitled 'The Forgotten Present' and he was very impressed by some of the ideas the children had.
That afternoon, Declan officially opened our refurbished school library. He also presented our two librarians, Logan Rooney and Aura Zemaityte with their librarians badges. He talked to the children about the importance of reading and using the library. We may have some budding authors in the future!
