What a treat the boys and girls had in P4/5 had when local author Declan Carville came to visit. He showed us a selection of his books which were all based in the local area. The children were delighted when he showed them a book he had written about the Giant’s Causeway as they had been learning about it in class as part of our myths and legends lessons.
The children asked some super questions including what inspired him to become an author. We could maybe have some budding authors amongst them in later life! ✍️
