We were delighted to welcome Marty Clarke to school today. Marty very generously gave up his time to present our P5 to P7 children with their new St Colman’s football gloves. The children asked some great questions, Marty explained what life was like as a professional athlete in Australia, playing for An Riocht & Down, what it takes to keep improving and all of the biscuits he used to eat as a wee boy in Mrs White’s house!
Not only that, Marty took the children for a brilliant training session. The children enjoyed every minute of it, Marty passed on some great advice to everyone.
