A special visit from our postman! 📮
We had a very special visitor in school today—our local postman came to collect all of the children’s letters to Santa! The excitement was incredible as the children handed over their envelopes, knowing they were on their way to The North Pole! 📮
During his visit, the postman took time to speak to the pupils about his important role in the community. He showed us some of the equipment he uses every day, including his postal bag and handheld scanner, and explained how letters and parcels get to each of their houses every day.
The children were fascinated to learn about what a typical day looks like for a postman, the different types of mail he delivers, and the importance of being organised, safe, and reliable. They asked brilliant questions and enjoyed hearing some stories.
A huge thank you to our postman for taking the time to visit us and make our morning extra magical 🎅📬💛
