A Letter From Santa For Primary 1

7th Dec 2020

On Friday, Primary 1 had planned to walk to the postbox to post their Santa letters. Unfortunately, the weather took a turn for the worse and we were unable to go for our walk. Thankfully the postman came to the rescue and came to our outside classroom door to collect our letters and deliver them to Santa. He was unable to come into the classroom due to Covid restrictions but it was very exciting for the children all the same.

Today (Monday 7th December), the Primary 1 children got such a shock when a knock came to our outside classroom door! There were two very friendly postmen standing outside with a surprise for the boys and girls. Santa read all of their letters and sent a letter in reply to the children. They were all so excited!

Santa thanked the boys and girls for their letters and told the children that Mrs Colgan has been speaking to him and told him that all of the boys and girls are very well behaved and deserve nice presents this Christmas. He also told them that the elves are very busy making toys and the reindeers are excited for their journey on Christmas Eve.

Santa sent the boys and girls some sweets for a nice treat on Friday at the end of the week.
