π±πΌ Welcoming Spring in Forest School π±πΌ
Our pupils enjoyed the wonderful signs of spring during our recent Forest School session. With the brighter days and fresh new growth all around, the children were excited to explore the outdoor environment and discover what changes happen in nature at this time of year.
During the session, pupils took part in a range of hands-on activities including hunting for signs of spring and creating beautiful nature art using leaves, sticks and flowers. They even found some wiggly worms. The soil is warmer and wetter in spring and the worms wriggle up closer to the surface to find food like dead leaves and plant material. There was lots of teamwork as children worked together to solve problems, share ideas and support one another.
It was wonderful to see so much curiosity, creativity and enjoyment as the children connected with nature looking for signs that Spring had sprung.
We look forward to many more Forest School adventures this spring! π±πΌππΏ
