π π» St. Colmanβs Spreads Festive Cheer with the Santa Daily Mile! π π»
Today, our pupils and staff laced up their trainers, pulled on their Santa hats and Christmas jumpers, and stepped out into the fresh winter air to take part in the Santa Daily Mile. The playground and school grounds were filled with red, white and jingling bells as everyone joined together for a fun, festive walk and run.
The aim of the Santa Daily Mile is simple: to get active, enjoy being outdoors, and celebrate the joy of movement at this special time of year. Children from every class took part, encouraging one another as they completed their mile with big smiles and plenty of festive spirit.
For this event, we were also joined by Dunaman Preschool.
Teachers were delighted to see such enthusiasm, with pupils showing great determination, teamwork, and Christmas cheer. Classes used the event as an opportunity to talk about the importance of staying healthy, keeping active, and supporting one another—especially during the busy holiday season.
We are incredibly proud of all our pupils for embracing the challenge and making the morning so memorable.
A huge well done to everyone who took part and helped make our Santa Daily Mile a fantastic success.
What a brilliant way to step into the Christmas season! π β¨
